Red Lipstick

If you could class my make up style, most of the time I am a "smokey dark eyes and nude/pink/peach lips" kinda girl - BUT I am going to try out the famous red lippy.

I have seen celebs/movie stars/models wear/friends wear it and I'm really keen to give it a go.
I just worry that I will look like a 80's hooker...

If you go to a make up store there are, like, a million different colours of red lipstick! How do I know which one to choose? darker or lighter red? Cool or warm? Glossy or matte?
I also need to consider the other make up on my face. I cant mix red lippy with bright blue eyeshadow (haha... eeww) I think I need to keep eyes VERY basic - also need a flawless face of foundation.
I have brown eyes and blonde hair and I'm almost always tanned.

Former Home and Away actor turned Hollywood star Ryan Kwanten has confessed he's had the pleasure of visiting the Playboy Mansion's grotto and will die a "happy man."
Hugh Hefner's grotto is reportedly renowned for wild and intimate clothes-free parties, where inhibitions are left at the door.
We caught up with the True Blood star yesterday during his whirlwind Sydney visit to promote the Telstra T-Box.
The 33-year-old has taken America by storm with his portrayal of Jason Stackhouse, a ladies' man in the high-rating TV series shown on Foxtel in Australia and HBO in the US.

You also played this type of role as Vinnie in Home and Away. Has this helped you off screen with the girls?
At times, but then I also live vicariously through Jason, as he gets a lot more than your average man.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Hef's mansion a few times and did a tour down to the grotto. I wouldn't touch the water though. Who knows what's swimming in there? At least I've seen the grotto and can die a happy man.
What are the American chicks like compared to Aussie girls?
American girls have more attitude, but once you put on the Aussie accent thicker — it calms them. Nothing beats a good conversation with an Australian girl and I'm looking forward to chatting to a few young ladies during my stay.
Nice one. Why are girls around the world going crazy over vampires at the moment?
Some girls like to think vampires are different and they represent that kind of mystery. The difference of True Blood is that it has so many layers and subtext and it's not just a vampire show.
It seems you've become more popular than a free sausage sizzle at Bunnings. Got a stalker yet?
Yeah, she's not the threatening type yet, but she's a lingerer. She's become a leader of this fan group and has sent me many promiscuous things that aren't even suitable to name on your site.
They say American beer is like having sex on a boat, as it's so close to water. Do you agree?
Haha, I've never heard that phrase and I'm going to steal it. I agree, but it beats drinking nothing. I do miss the good Aussie beers, but beggars can't be choosers.
Good call. It seems a lot of Home and Away actors serve their apprenticeship in Summer Bay, before making the transition to fame and fortune in Hollywood.
Home and Away was a steep learning curve and being surrounded by talented actors like Ray Meagher was inspiring. It was nice to find a place where my acting could grow and grow.
Do you somehow miss Alf calling you a flaming galah?
I wouldn't mind it every now and then to keep me in line. I've stayed in contact with Ray and I was really happy to see a good fella like him win a Gold Logie.
Do you sometimes hang out at a Santa Monica diner with other former Home and Away stars such as Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas, order milkshakes and reminisce about the good-old times?
That's all we do and talk about. We have renamed a couple of places the Bayside Diner and we'll go into character and visit these spots. I usually put on a Hawaiian shirt and do my hair for an hour beforehand.
When you first arrived in LA, you rode your pushie to auditions. How did you survive in Tinseltown?
I bought a $30 push bike from a garage sale and I would also catch local buses. I barely had any money and was originally supposed to be there for only three days. I convinced the Cadillic Hotel owner, who was also Aussie, to let me stay for three months. He put me in the storeroom and I paid him gradually once I found acting work.
Where's the strangest place you have been recognised?
I came out of this crappy little gym after some boxing training and there were six or seven paparazzi dudes waiting to get a pic. They were lucky they didn't get jumped, due to the infamous suburb.
What are you filming at the moment?
We just wrapped up season three of True Blood and I'm about to play a mechanic who's into heavy metal in a movie that's similar to Shaun of the Dead.

It's cold, well here in Australia it's cold (not as cold as NZ though) haha :P

In my spare time I like to get outside but when it's winter I usually feel like staying inside but this can get BORING. So, what are some fun ideas for a winter inside - and sometimes outside?

Get your girlfriends together and have a Slumber Party! Pillow fight! Jammies, beanies and ugh boots. Make some hot chocolate with marshmallows and watch a girlie movie or new episodes of The Hills.

Have a jewellery/lingerie/"adult toy" party and mix up some creamy cocktails.
Invite your main squeeze to rug up on couch with a hot pasta meal and watch a romantic comedy or scary movie.
Choose a romantic restaurant with a fireplace for dinner or just snuggle up with a mug of hot chocolate or pizza.
Take advantage of the snow season and go sledding, skiing, or just make a snowman. Snowball fight!
Warm up with a hot stone massage and spend ample time with your honey in the steam room.
Set up a tent in your front room, sit in the tent and eat dinner on a blanket, build a fake fire, or roast marshmallows over a candle.
Wii Olympics - get a group together and have a competition using Wii Sports.
Volunteer together at the local animal shelter.

Last week on Wednesday night I had a fun girlie catch up and I got asked "have you picked your bridesmaids yet?" I've actually been asked that several times and I haven't made a decision yet - but I think I need to.

I have a great group of friends here and some really special people in NZ too. I want to have 10 girls haha but I think I will have 3 or 4... or 5! It's my wedding so I make the rules ;)
I love all my friends equally and they are all really different and amazing and I just don't know how I am meant to choose a few girls as I don't want anyone to be offended.
I've had advice like, the bridesmaids are going to be in all your wedding photos, they should be your longest friends, they should be your best friends at the time, they should be people who you will still be friends with later in life, they should be your sisters, they should be the best looking, they should be this and that and so on.
Should they be my sisters? Should they be my longest friends? What about new friends?
They should be the girls that are going to touch up my make up with out thinking about it and adjust my dress if it's not right.
I also need to consider the meaning. Sure, it's fun to include my friend because she throws a heck of a party, but if her morals are less than appealing, remember the meaning of a bridesmaid. She is there to stand with me and my future husband at the alter as a witness to our vows. She is committing to supporting my marriage through the good times and bad. I don't need a bridesmaid who will try to hook you up with my cousin the first time me and my new husband have an argument.

I also have the task of finding the right style and colour of dress I want them to wear that will suit them and also match the theme of the wedding. Girls say "I dont want to look like a merang" and "I dont wear pink"
I might do different styles of dresses but in the same colour? Long or short?
I would never put my girls in ugly dresses haha I want them to look HOT!!!

It's a massive privaledge to be part of the bridal party and I know the friends I choose will be perfect.

Movie Review: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

I'm not really a "TV" kind of person, almost every show bores me shitless and nothing interestes me AT ALL. All this NCIS CSI Maimi New York LA bla bla bla Law shows Police shows. Or its drama like Home and Away or The Good Wife... yawn.
I LIKE MOVIES!!! When I lived in Hamilton I think I watched almost every dvd in the local store haha.
Last night we chose to watch The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Purely because it was a new release and when I saw Heathy Ledger I just had to see it. May his soul rest in peace.
So what is the movie about? In exchange for extraordinary powers, Dr. Parnassus (Plummer) makes a deal with the Devil to turn over any child of his when they turn sixteen. But as his daughter Valentina's (Lily Cole) birthday approaches, a mysterious stranger (Ledger) arrives with the power to change everything.
The father has a stage show where they all perform and there is a mirror where people go through. Once through the mirror, there is the imagination. Each person has a different experience - It's beyond amazing. It's beyond beautiful. I cant even begin to describe it. The storey is awesome and I loved all 122 minutes of it!!!
Sadly, Heath Ledger died a few years ago. His character was played by Johnny Depp

who were all amazing as well! I cant get over how beautiful Lily Cole is! She is STUNNING!!!

I admit it was really sad watching Heath Ledger as he was such a talented actor and it's such a shame and such a huge loss to the world. At the start of the movie when they all find him he is hanging by a rope around his neck under a bridge. Weird.

The movie is pretty twisted! But it's wicked and I highly recommend it.

Family's Visit

What a great 5 days it has been! My parents and two of my step sisters came over from NZ for a holiday and to go to our cousin's wedding.
They got here Thursday and that night we went out to Draculars for dinner and a show SO MUCH FUN!
Friday we hit the shops and got shoes, dresses, bags etc man were my feet tired afterwards! Friday night I did some party modelling at a big house while Shane hung out with my family and had drinks (isnt he great!)
Saturday we all got pretty and went out to the wedding. Adam and Leeusha are so gorgeous and I'm so happy for them - it was a beautiful afternoon and evening. Afterwards Shane, Brett, Megan and I hit the town and partied til sunrise. We were all pretty hungover Sunday and had lunch for Brett's birthday at a delicious italian restaurant on the water. Checked out some luxury boats and then had a BBQ at my aunties places with all the family. Its not very often that we're all under the same roof so I really enjoyed the family time. I never used to understand why family is so important and now I get it - I LOVE my family and they are so important to me.
Today I took my parents out to show them where Shane and I are getting married and I got their approval so thats cool! Then we had lunch in town with Brett again and they all went shopping and I'm back at my apartment job hunting! Hoping to get some interviews this week :)
My sisters flew back early this morning and my parents fly back tomorrow morning. Going to cook them breakfast and say the goodbyes uh so sad I hate it. Wish they could stay longer!!!

Rent-a-minx
One package on the market is the chance to be grabbed by an all-girl team. In one shot on the not-suitable-for-work Extreme Kidnapping webpage for the female capture option, tartan skirt-clad vixens lean over a car, exposing their knickers.

My Cousins Wedding - WTF am I going to wear?

OK so, in two weeks my cousin Adam and his gorgeous fiance are getting married here on the Gold Coast! I'm so happy for them - they are great people!

My parents (who I haven't seen for a year) are coming over and two of my step sisters are as well. I CANNOT wait to see them all. I really miss my parents.

Being a model and fashion obsessed, I want to look f*cken awesome at the wedding. I've recently changed my hair from dark brown to light brown with blonde highlights.
(I think I will put some more blonde through it before the wedding)

I don't know what to wear! haha ;) I usually wear sexy dresses with high heals, bright colours and funky accessories. Probably because most of the social events I go to are at night in clubs/bars/parties. But for a wedding I want to tone it down a go for something really girlie and in a pastel/creamy/nude colour. I'm thinking florals, grecian, ruffles etc.

So I posted a question on www.polyvore.com and I'm pleasantly surprised to find several girls have gone to the effort to put outfits together to help me out - and some of them are beautiful!

HUGE life update

Apologies for the lack of blogging – my life has been a little crazy lately. I’ve made some big changes – yay!

First up, I resigned from my Brisbane job about 4 weeks ago and this is my last week here. It’s sad to leave as I love my work mates and the company. In January 2010, Queensland Transport and Translink increased my bus/train fares by 21% which leaves me paying over $100 a week in travel OUCH! Also the time spent travelling each day (5 hours) has been taking a toll on my personal life for about 6 months. My wedding is just over a year away so feel I need to be much closer to home (and Shane) to save and plan for one of the most important events of my entire life. The spare time I have each day (about an hour) just isn’t enough – especially considering I want to start studying. Social life is ZERO through the week making my weekends jammed with trying to do everything.
I'm really looking forward to having time back on my side.

So what have I been doing on these weekends? Going back to April 23rd, Friday night I had dinner with some of my best girlfriends (Bridget, Tracey and Katie) went to a couple bars – such a fun night out!

Got home 2am and got up Saturday morning 6am and went on an amazing kayaking and snorkelling tour with Shane. Beautiful!!!
Then we spent Sunday on a bush hike through Mount Springbrook. We saw a snake in the wild which was exciting hehe. Walked down past a huge waterfall and walked underneath it. There was a pool at the bottom to go swimming in. Paradise in the rainforest!

Then Monday it was Anzac day and we watched a doco on TV and paid our respect to those amazing people and what they did for us.

The following weekend was my friend Shayla’s bday! I love birthday parties! I made her a cute photo frame and also got her a cocktail recipe book. We had a party at her parent’s beautiful mansion and then 2 maxi taxis full of people went into town. Had a fun night at a club drinking and dancing.
Sunday was HUNGOVER! RANDOM BIKINI PHOTOS

Then Monday was CREAMFIELDS MUSIC FESTIVAL!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! What a day! It was so incredible! The music, the people, the location – AMAZING! HUGE! I had the best time! My fav acts were LMFAO, Green Velvet, MstrKrft and The Bloody Beetroots.

The group of us had to wait in the rain for like 1.5 hours for a ride home – f*cken public transport. Ugh! We got back to our hotel and had a hot shower – so good! Then went to bed around midnight. Woke up Tuesday feeling like I had been hit by a train, dragged along for a few hours then stood up and hit again. Death walking. Didn’t make it to work as I felt so bad. Wednesday I went to work but felt so terrible. I got home and had fevers and chills and my glands and tonsils were swollen, headache and blocked nose. Went to the Doc Thursday and also had Friday off. Friday I felt the worst – I got out of bed once! I slept for like 14 hours each night. I’ve never been that sick. I never want to feel like that again.

Last weekend I came to the conclusion that my new apartment wasn’t feeling like “home” so Shane and I got some cute goldfish and I bought some cactus plants. Our kitchen is like a mediterranean theme as we love that kind of food. The lounge is Africa and the bedroom is white with dark purple and chocolate. I printed a bunch of new photos and put them in frames around the apartment.

Which brings me to the weekend just been! Friday night I hit the gym with Shane. Then we watched “Friday” and “Next Friday” haha funny movies!

Being the amazing fiancé that I am, I got up early Saturday morning and baked Shane some bacon and cheese muffins for breakfast in bed YUMMY!

Then later that morning I took the big step I’ve been thinking about for so long. I changed my hair from brunette to blonde! Ok so it’s not “blonde” it’s more like light brown with blonde highlights. It’s a gradual process. I’m not trying to be platinum blonde (like Paris Hilton) more like a natural dirty blonde (like Lauren Conrad or Elle Liberachi). E.G.

It took 4 hours. I left the salon feeling upset and HATING the new colour. Thinking “why did I change it?! I should have just stayed brunette!” I was in a weird mood all day about it. I don’t think I prepared myself for such a big change. It really affected me. But I LOVE it now!
Shane and I spent the afternoon at my brother’s new house – SO BEAUTIFUL! He lives right by the water and his flat mate has a jet ski FUN!
Shane cooked us dinner Saturday night - so yummy. He is such a great cook. Love hot meals on a winter night. We hung out and watched Season 8 of The Family Guy – HILLARIOUS!!! That shit is GOLD!

We spent Sunday morning shopping at the mall and I got some new lingerie yay! Then I got pretty for my shoot and met up with my new friend Sally who is a fashion stylist. She came to my shoot with Nathan from Mojo Photography. We had a great shoot – we are a great team! Lots more photos to come…

Then I picked up Bridget and we had a sushi date. I tried deep-fried ice-cream OMFG. Love hanging out with my girl Bridget, she is awesome!!! HUGE gossip catch up session.

Guess what! I’ve paid off my credit card IN FULL and now all my spare money can go towards saving for my wedding YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!

This weekend I have a meeting with a new agent to see if I can model in the Gold Coast Fashion Week! I did it last year for my friend Sonja who is a designer. I also did a shoot for one of her ranges.

I’ve got so much coming up over the next couple months! Life is going so well and I really feel that I’m making good decisions and doing what makes ME happy.

Young women can spend a fortune on cosmetics, clothes and treatements all to project the illusion of success. But how much is too much?
I was at a Thai restaurant with some girlfriends on Saturday night when we started talking about getting our hair permanently straightened. My friend Kate had just had it done in the city, at a “bargain” of a place ... for 300 bucks.
Kate’s started getting her manicure and pedicure there too, because they do it a little cheaper than her ordinary beautician - although she still confesses to a mani-pedi habit that costs her around $800 a year. She gets a spray tan once a month or so for special occasions like the races or a wedding for $40, gets her legs waxed and her eyebrows shaped, her hair highlighted, wears nice jewellery, gorgeous perfume, looks after her skin, has a typical girl’s makeup stash, has a couple of good handbags, and is eyeing off a pair of boots for winter - and wondering if she can afford them at just under $300.
Thing is, Kate’s not an unusual for a city girl, and she’s certainly not overly primped and preened. She likes the latest fashions but she doesn’t wear designer head-to-toe. She’s never had botox or an expensive spa treatment like most of the girls we know, and she gets the bus to work.
Kate and I gave up somewhere around the green curry working out how much she spends each year on looking pretty much the same as every other woman working in her office, at a law firm in the CBD. Kate joked that every time she gets a pay rise, there’s another new piece of essential ‘upkeep’ that’s conspiring to keep her broke, and a long way from putting a deposit down on a unit - something she’s been trying to save for since she graduated six years ago.
Thing is, I think Kate’s drama is a common one. We’re now expected to spend so much looking good, that we almost have to work to keep up the illusion that we’re successful. Because now, success has a ‘look’. And it’s an expensive one.
Now I know what some of you are thinking. Just give up on all the expensive trendy beauty and fashion trappings, girls, and save the spoils? You’re just copying Hollywood, Kate, surely professional city girls here don’t have to spend a small fortune to simply keep up appearances? You might be half right, but the awful truth is that there’s an enormous amount of money per year that goes into keeping women looking good enough for them to feel confident and secure in their workplace. I’m not saying it’s right. I’m just saying that it has never been more expensive to be a professional woman in this town.
It’s no wonder men are more likely to own property younger. And die with more money. They’re not dropping $150 every time they see their hairdresser.

Honeymoon Plans

I had a really bad dream last night about my wedding! I had a lame dress from my wardrobe as my wedding dress, old shoes, I didn’t have my nails done and we hadn’t organised the wedding night accommodation or the honeymoon! I’m so glad it was all a stupid dream. It’s the 2nd one I’ve had since I got engaged. I always have this feeling in my dream that the wedding isn’t special enough and it’s a big disappointment. Stupid negative thought! My wedding will be spectacular and amazing!

It’s less that 16months away now. So far we have booked our ceremony and reception venues and made a rough guest list. People keep saying to me “oh the next 12 months will go so fast”
Should I have more done at this stage? I honestly feel like its ages away and I won’t really bother with much until early next year. Over 12 months my taste will change and fashions will change.

One thing I really REALLY want to be amazing is the honeymoon. As I am only ever going to get married once, I want it to be a truly beautiful and romantic experience (cheesy as that may sound haha!)
My first idea was to go to the Whitsunday Islands. After looking through package deals I was disappointed with what you get for the money you pay. So the next idea is Thailand. Shane and I haven’t travelled much so Thailand would be fun! The penthouses and private beach villas there are so gorgeous! You can get in room massages for $10AUS for an hour. We want to eat bugs and weird food at the markets and I want go shopping for Chanel handbags. Drinks are super cheap, like $2 and I want to ride an elephant.

I’ve also just found some absolutely breath-taking places in Mexico! My jaw dropped when I saw these places! OMFG!!!

Obviously it’s like triple the price of Thailand (flights and accommodation) but it’s got me wondering, is it worth it? Should we save the extra money for this once in a life time experience and event? I don’t have any married friends so I don’t really know how to make this decision. Read reviews online?
Part of me says “go for it, you only live once, it’s your honeymoon, spoil yourself” and part of me says “you can be anywhere in the whole world, as long as you’re with Shane, you’ll be happy”

Last weekend was my friend Ben's 21st, as a money saving gift I decided to bake him some cute cupcakes! He is in a rock band so I though the music notes and guitars were quite fitting :)

Raspberry and White Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

150g butter, chopped
200g dark eating chocolate, chopped
1 cup (220g) caster sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs, beaten lightly
½ cup (75g) plain flour
½ cup (75g) self-raising flour
100g white eating chocolate, chopped
150g frozen raspberries

Method

Preheat the oven to moderate (180°C/160°C fan-forced). Grease a deep 19cm square cake pan, line base and two opposite sides with baking paper.
Melt butter and dark chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
Stir in the sugar and vanilla, then the eggs, sifted flours, white chocolate and raspberries.
Spread the mixture into prepared pan; bake in a moderate oven for about 35 minutes or until just firm. Cool in pan.
Turn out; cut into squares.

YUM :)

A show I love to watch is Biggest Loser Couples. I don’t usually follow reality TV (if you can call it that) but I think this show is great because people who are unhappy and unhealthy are shown new ways to improve life and be healthy. I had a great Easter weekend! How was your’s?

Having 4 days off in a row was amazing. I was meant to have a relaxing chilled out quiet weekend BUT that never seems to happen haha. No rest for the wicked ;)

Friday Shane and I got up early (7am) and I made him bacon and egg frittatas for breakfast – in bed! Then we went for a long bike, about 2 hours. I love riding down the beach, its so beautiful there. Then I visited Bridget and Tracey, so great as I hardly get to see them. Their new apartment is gorgeous! Spent the afternoon baking Easter cupcakes, check it…

Friday night I went to Kimberly Scott’s 30th Birthday White Party – photos yet to come. Was a fun night and caught up with some friends I haven’t seen for aaaages and also met a few new fun friends. Was a good girl and only had one drink and was home by midnight :)

Saturday Shane took me up to the beautiful Mount Tambourine for a cute picnic lunch with wine and chocolate YUMMMM! The gardens up there are stunning! I love living so close to rainforests.

Then we went shopping and I got a cute pink mini skirt and a dress (only $25) for work to match my new boots…GEEK

Made dinner at home and made these banana coated in chocolate and peanuts/M&Ms/sprinkles …mmm…

Watched a couple funny dvds

Sunday we had friends over then made our way down to Currumbin beach for an epic beach cricket game! Its so fun when random new people ask to join in and we get a good group going :)

Then we had drinks at The Temple before stopping off at our friend Ben’s new apartment. He is in a band and his singer was there so they did a couple songs for us – so awesome!

Ended up at Platinum nightclub – fun night!

Monday was another amazing day so we got up early and went to The Spit beach

The water was so warm! I love the feeling of diving into the ocean :)

Had sushi with some friends and did some more shopping for outdoor furniture for our new apartment’s balcony.

Such a great long weekend! Short week YAY :)

I need to pick a subject to study. I want to educate myself with some fresh skills and knowledge. This is quite an important decision for me as it will lead me to my next career path. I love my job and the company I work for, but I don't want to be an admin assistant forever.
I think the best way for me to choose this is to figure out what I love and what I can’t stand, in all aspects of my personality, then apply this to making the decision.

Going back to when I was a kid, my mother (may her soul rest in peace) was VERY creative. She was the most amazing lady e.v.e.r. She could design and make clothes for everyone, cook, bake, garden and decorate. She was a hairdresser and a nurse. She helped my dad run the farm and “balance the books”.
My dad had a farm and worked physically very hard and I am so fortunate to have someone like him as my father. He is a king in my eyes. I have some of this in my personality, I like to get my hands dirty and get amongst the action. I like being active and I love being outdoors.
I’m not trying to base my next career path on my parent’s personalities but I think they do influence my personality.
At school my best and favourite subject was English. I did take Graphic design but failed as I was only good at the drawing and making things look pretty but not so good at the written work. I loved art and drama and languages. I hated maths at first but then really enjoyed it. I failed at science but I think I would appreciate that now.
After school I studied administration skills to get me a job in an office. I then stopped any further studying to concentrate my time and energy into modelling. You can’t be a swimwear model when you’re 35 so that’s why I chose to do it at a younger age.

The subject I’ve been thinking of lately is journalism. I want to be a TV presenter - I’d love to have my own show! But I’ve kind of gone off that lately as I have a negative opinion about the media. I can’t stand celeb gossip and I think most of the events exaggerated and dragged out. Working for a magazine would be fun but I think eventually they will be phased out with technology like iPads – most people now read the news online.
I've had about 5 different choices in the last 6 months. I keep changing my mind :P

My interests
• Learning new skills. I’m very curious about all aspects of life. People and communication, fashions, health and fitness, technology, real estate and the economy.
• Being realistic. Work with my hands, fixing things, building, repairing.
• Investigative. Thinking and problem solving, research, collecting and analyzing data.
• Artistic. I love to create something, show it to people and have them admire it. (like the cupcakes I bake and photo shoots I do). Composing and writing.
• Being social. I like working with people, helping and teaching.

Things I can’t stand
• Sales. Ugh. I did promo for like 4 years and I did so much sales work in that time, I was good but it was very draining for me. I couldn’t do sales full time. I’ve been there and done that and want something else now. I would have to LOVE my products to work in sales.
• Mundane repetitive tasks. The same things all day every day. I do like some routine but I my attention span can sometimes suffer.

So in summary, I love to learn and be creative and active with people. What kind of careers does this match?

I want to write about an amazing lady who featured on the 7pm Project last night. Carrie (the news presenter) actually started crying as she tried to do the interview.
Her name is Geraldine Cox. This incredible woman who devotes her life to caring for orphaned children in Cambodia is now ill with Breast Cancer. It’s an illness that heavily affected my childhood and to know that a person such as Geraldine Cox is sick breaks my heart.

About Geraldine
Geraldine Cox started her career with the Australian Department of Foreign affairs at the age of 25 in 1970 with her first posting to the Embassy in Phnom Penh, when the Vietnam War spilled over into Cambodia. There she lived a life of privilege under the diplomatic umbrella, while hundreds of thousands of Cambodians were suffering in unbelievably deprived living conditions as they fled the countryside to the city, to escape the provincial bombing by the Americans. For the milkman's daughter from Adelaide this had a lasting impact which she carried in her heart throughout her other postings to the Philippines (5 years), Thailand (3 years), Iran (3 years) and finally America (3 years) in the Embassy in Washington DC, before returning to Australia in 1987.

Geraldine Cox (born 1945) is president and operator of the Sunrise Children's Village orphanage in the province of Kandal, in Cambodia. She is the only Australian to have been granted Cambodian citizenship by a royal decree from King Norodom Sihanouk.
Originally from Adelaide, Geraldine Cox was posted to Phnom Penh by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs in 1970. While in Australia in 1993, Cox helped found the Australia Cambodia Foundation, which operates the Sunrise Children's Village. She moved to Cambodia permanently in 1996, to live with the orphaned children.
Cox is the author of the book Home is Where the Heart Is, an account of her life and the lives of some of the children she has cared for. She is also the subject of the documentary My Khmer Heart, made by Australian filmmakers Janine Hosking and Leonie Lowe.

Geraldine Cox is a determined woman who won’t take no for an answer. Following a visit with a friend to a Cambodian orphanage in 1993, The Australia Cambodia Foundation was established. It has since been renamed the Sunrise Children’s Village, to conjure up visions of a new dawn and a fresh beginning for the orphans and disadvantaged children of Cambodia. Geraldine runs two orphanages and is building a new centre for children suffering from HIV. She spends nine months of the year with the children in Cambodia and the remainder travelling to raise funds.
In 1999, in a Royal Decree, King Norodom Sihanouk bestowed Geraldine with Cambodian citizenship, a rare honour. In 2000, a documentary about Geraldine, called My Khmer Heart, won the Documentary of the Year Award at the Hollywood Film Festival. Affectionately known as ‘Big Mum’, Geraldine’s energy, commitment and joy for life has changed the lives of thousands of Cambodian children.

My Birthday

It was my birthday on Sunday. I celebrated by hosting pre drinks at my apartment on Saturday night -check out my mini cupcakes.

Who serves food in bowls? Not me - Cocktail glasses for everything!

9pm we headed to my favourite bar for my party. I booked 2 private lounges upstairs which was great, such a beautiful area. We had air con, personal waitress and I had free entry for everyone and a bar tab. I also had a friend Snare as the photographer for the night, paparazzi.

It was great to see my friends and party! Good night :)

I got my dream fashion item for the year: Over the knee black suede boots. Thanks to my man Shane! He is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great birthday, and I think the one thing that made it so great is the people I shared it with.

So, I’m another year older. Even though I’m 24, I feel 16. I’m still wearing short skirts and partying with friends. I’m in love with the most amazing guy EVER. I’m surrounded by great friends who mean everything to me and I love them to pieces! I have a great job. I’m skinny and tanned haha (Gold Coast much?) I love where I live. I love my whole life, inside and out.

This Saturday night, my friend Ben and his band are playing at a Burlesque party. The band’s name is Galactic Acid. Their inspiration comes from Motley Crew and Gun’s N Roses. It’s very “glam rock”

We have a driver for 5 of us going and they have a hotel room for the night. Party like rock starts.

Over the knee boots. I want them. I NEED them. Shane and I had monday off work and decided to go out for breakfast. The cafe we chose just happened to be next to a really awesome shoe store who are selling the gorgeous suede black boots as heels and as flats. I begged Shane to buy them for me and he laughed and said there is no way a pair of boots can be $330. I explained that I NEEEEEEEEEED to have them and it would be a great birthday present. He laughed again. As I am on a "No Shopping for 3 months" to teach me to save money instead of spending it on shopping, I am unable to purchase these glorious boots myself. LAME! I said all I need for this winter is those boots and a sexy jacket with shoulder pads. He laughed again and told me I'm cute and silly. Sigh. Boys just dont understand fashion haha (Love you Shane hehe xxx)

Hair conditioning treatment. My hair has been through some rough treatment lately. Especially with the parades I have been doing - lots of styling!

Basically a whole new wardrobe for work. All my work clothes are way too big now and look baggy on me. I find myself wearing singlets and skirts (stuff I usually wear on the weekend). Skirts, Blouse, Pants, Jackets, Scarfs, Boots!

A new apartment. We have to move from our current (amazing) apartment in April. I love where we are! Its less than 100m to the beach, close to Surfers and Broadbeach, close to everything!!! The new place needs to have views, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (for visiting friends), close to everything like malls/bars/beach/public transport (I dont have a car). Also needs to be modern and big and clean and have awesome neighbours. We always find the perfect place at the right time so I'm sure we can find something to match my requirements.

To have a fun birthday party. I'm hosting a party at one of my fav bars. Invited over 100 people but so many people here are so busy with so many events to attend I think about 50 people will come - which will be a great crowd. All my friends are great people and we always have fun when we party. No dramas!

Last night I was a catwalk model for the Business Gold Coast Swim 2010 Cocktail Gala. Several up and coming (and amazing) desginers had their beautiful swimwear on show - it was so fun! It was fun and sexy and full on! Back stage was crazy with so many hairstylists and make up artists and models and assistants and media - including FashionTV Australia!

Firearms Licence

I've decided to get my firearms licence! Shane has been into guns and hunting since I met him and I never really liked it as my Dad's friend got shot and killed while in the bush about 10 years ago, so it has always scared me.
Since we have moved to Australia he has been missing the sport and wasn't sure about bringing his guns over from NZ. We visited a massive sporting store over the weekend and found out some info on memberships.
I thought it would be a fun sport to do with Shane and suggested I get my firearms licence to and he was more than happy.
BUT I cant bring myself to shoot an animal. I thought about it and I just can't do it haha. So I am going to start with targets and clays. I posted my thoughts on Facebook and people think its a great idea YAY.
One of my first questions was "can I have a pink gun?" haha

Membership is really cheap and when you join a club you gain access to HEAPS of land where you can shoot safely and if you want you can go in groups with a guide (for those of us who dont know the area very well). Travel is about 1-2 hours (was about 3-4 hours in NZ) so its close and easy.

I'm really excited!

Soul Pleasure - If like attracts like then liking the life you're living is a great place to start

The has been a lot of publicity and general hoo-ha over the past few years about the concept of the law of attraction. Put simply, the law of atraction is concerned with emotional energy, vibration and attitude,
It is believed that when we are a direct vibrational match with what we are asking for it flows into our lives.
In short, like attracts like. If you want something, the easier and fastest way to get it is to have the same vibe. To do that you need to be clear about what you want and how you feel about it. The more postive you are, the more you attract something positive. The more nergative you feel (and negativity includes fear, anger and doubt), the further away you push it.
The law is particularly potent when it comes to soul mates. If you are giving off a confused set of emotions and vibes, you will attract what you are giving off, and thats not what you are really after. You need to be living, thinking and feeling as positively as you can.

Baby Steps.
No one is asking you to be joyful and happy all the time - there are going to be times of stress and frustration. What the law of attraction asks you to do when in that state is to move one step towards an emotion thats feels a bit better. Any emotion. Then you move another step to a better one, and again to an even better one. Then you do this conciously, until you are actually experiencing an emotion that is pleasureable. Witches speak of this as being "pleasure-led"
A really easy way to keep this positive enegry of attitude in your life is to make decisions based on whether or not it will be pleasureable for you. This might sound selfish. We are not telling you to take every day off work because you prefer to go shopping or sailing. But we are saying that you should go shopping or sailing or what ever else it is that makes you very happy at a more appropriate time if that is what gives you pleasure. You should fulfil your obligations, but if they are a burden - if there is a little room in your life for pleasure - you need to question your quality of life and what, or who, you hope to attract. By deeply engaging if life, by choosing to expereince emotions that make you feel positive and by having a positive vision for youself, prepares a fertile and welcoming place for another person to be atracted into.

Your Choice.
What would you most like to attract, a happy person living a full, balanced life, or a volatile person living an unhappy, unbalanced life?
Even if we are lucky enough to attract the first but we're more like the second, it wont last long.

I’m going to change my hair. It’s been the same for soooo long (like 5 years). Brown hair is really easy and cheap to maintain and style. It’s so low maintenance.

BUT, I’m going to change it anyway!

For some reason I want to be blonde once more before I get married. Just for shits and giggles.

Being all brunette I can’t go blonde straight away, will have to work my way there. I love Ashley Tisdale’s hair.

Life Update – New Chapter

I had Friday off work last week to take part in a new show filmed here on the Gold Coast about Water Police. I was a background extra swimsuit model. I’ve done some acting and extra’s work when I was living in New Zealand and I really enjoyed it. I’m thinking this is the next step in my life, working in film and TV. I had positive and constructive feedback from the director (which is always so helpful) and ended up having a really fun day with everyone involved. I might have more parts in the show once the pilot is finished/edited and the show is up and running (in about 3 month’s time). The pilot will be shown in Australia and New Zealand, free TV.
Several people have told me that I need to move to Melbourne or Sydney to break into that side of the industry, but I am finding lots of work here in Queensland. I also think that the work and people are VERY different in Melbourne compared to Queensland. Is it the weather? Its colder in Melbourne so people wear more clothes and are a little more “closed” with themselves where as Queensland is warmer and people wear less and are more open. Hmm…
So I’m going to enrol for some more acting classes (have done some in New Zealand when I was 19) and also work on my speech presentation.
Also working on new agents, portfolio update is coming and I’m getting show reel. YAY!
I’m almost over modelling. I know it’s something I will continue to do for another year or so and at the moment I am getting offered a lot but just picking and choosing shoots and parades as I please and what fits in to my busy life.
I’ve still got my modelling goal in the works (being published) should find out about this over the next few weeks.
It’s really exciting to actually live out what I’ve wanted to do for so long. To be achieving. I look at other people and sometimes wonder how they don’t have any goals and don’t aim for anything. I guess I’m the kind of person who needs direction and can’t wander aimlessly though life. But as a good friend once told me, everyone’s idea of happiness is different.

I am cutting out all the negative people in my life. I can’t be bothered with liars, people that use you and are just plain mean and selfish. They aren’t worth my energy or time. I had an experience last week with someone I thought was a friend and turned out to be a huge let down and a bit of an embarrassment.
I am learning who my REAL friends are.

Wedding plans are underway! YAY YAY YAAAY! I now have a rough idea of how I want the day to go and a rough budget. At the moment I am dreaming about lots of flowers at the ceremony and lots of candles at the reception. I want old school Hollywood glamour, like 1920’s to 1950’s. Even the music from that era will be amazing. Classic beauty mixed with ancient Greece and modern France. I don’t want the traditional wedding dress; I want something a little different, maybe a one shoulder dress like these:

I’m finding that weddings are VERY expensive. Like a cake can be hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Also not sure if I want a wedding cake, I like the idea of the cupcake towers:

I’m not going to have Shane wear a boring ugly black suit. I like light grey with a vest (no jacket), white shirt, grey pants and white shoes. He has gorgeous blue eyes and olive skin so he will look amazing!
All the bridesmaid dresses I have looked at are UGLY! They are boring and unflattering and stupid haha. I want my girls to look hot! I want like 10 bridesmaids but going to have to keep it at 3-5 max. How do I pick only 3 girls???
Our invite list has changed heaps over the last 18 months. We are sending out official invites in August this year – which I am designing myself.
My parents are coming over to visit in June and my step-mum is going to help me out which will be great.

To my pleasant surprise, I have lost a little more weight. I haven’t really been trying to lose weight. I spent most of Saturday hanging out by the pool with Shane – its soo sooo soooo hot still. I love the feeling of looking great in a bikini. He went to Brisbane for the weekend with his mates; they went to a game there. I did some party modelling and met up with my American friend Britney yay I love that girl she is so awesome and I’m devoed she is going back to the states. She said she is coming back to study so I can’t wait! This is a pic of us at a new bar called Luna Loco:

I got home like 2am and woke up Sunday at about 8am, downloaded some music then spent the morning drinking sangria at 1two3 (it’s a restaurant and bar in Broadbeach) hanging out with Bridget who I haven’t seen since, like, forever ;) Then we picked up Tracey and hung out at Moomoo’s (another bar in Broadbeach) drinking cocktails there and we ate a bowl of fries with aioli YUMMMM!

Then I picked up Shane and we had a romantic valentine’s dinner at one of our fav places and ate waaay too much good food and laughed about our weekends then did some late night shopping and watched a movie.

I’m feeling really good about where I am going and what I am doing with my life. Lots of new and exciting opportunities have been presented to me and everything seems to be falling into place perfectly. Life is good xxx

If you've tried dieting, but never seem to be able to drop that dress size you desperately want to, the problem may be not the way you eat, but the way you think. Here are some of the most common ways we think ourselves fat, and how to change them.

I've had a beef burger, I might as well have the chips, too.

Think-me-thin solution
One treat at a time. The burger is a treat and I'll save myself gaining heaps of kilojoules by ordering a salad.
"The kilojoules from one hamburger won't show up on the scales next week," says Dr Judith Beck, a cognitive behavioural therapist and author of The Beck Diet Solution (available at www.amazon.com). "But eat a large serve of chips alongside it and they might." Just swapping a large serve of chips for a green salad will save you about 1788kJ.
"At every meal, think about eating smart by balancing out treats with something healthy, and not depriving yourself," says dietitian Sian Porter. "Have your burger, but make smart choices by ensuring it's grilled, foregoing the chips and pairing it with plenty of greens." Suddenly, at about 2093kJ, the burger you really want isn't so 'bad' after all.

"Instead of numbing your feelings with food, ask yourself what you really need to feel better. If you're stressed, that could mean taking a walk then writing down everything you have to do. If you're sad, it could be listening to bluesy music and crying it out."

If I had the life of a celebrity, with trainers and personal chefs, I would be thin, too.

There are plenty of slim, healthy people who aren't rich and famous everywhere.

Try the healthy hook-up. "If you think only celebrities stay skinny, look around at people at work or a friend who maintains a healthy diet and steal their secrets, or ask them if they'd fancy a daily power walk with you at lunchtime. Healthy lifestyles are catching."

"At the beginning of each week, plan to eat 837kJ a day of your favourite foods," she suggests. "When you're tempted by an offer of cake, think about the ice-cream you've planned for tonight, that you really want, and how guilty you're not going to feel afterwards!"

Re-energise your career goals for 2010

As we enter 2010, everyone is setting out to achieve their new year’s resolution.

By conducting a personal stocktake, deciding where you want to be, making a plan and staying on track with that plan, you can increase your success in 2010.

Step 1: Conduct a personal stocktake
Assess where you’re at currently and what you have achieved in the last 12 months. Make a list and consider, what were the highs? What were the lows? What did you enjoy the most? What did you achieve career-wise? Have you achieved a good work/life balance?

Step 2: Where would you like to be?
Now that you have assessed your progress in 2009, start thinking about where you’d like to be in your personal life and career. You should be completely open and honest with yourself, listing all of your dreams and goals - even those things that you think are too hard.

Step 3: Set about making a plan
Now that you have assessed your past achievements, and set goals to achieve in the future, it’s time to start making a plan of attack to get yourself where you’d like to be. Plan stages or steps to take from where you are today in order to get to where you ultimately want to be, working out what it is you must do to get to the place you desire in your career and life. Consider, realistically, how long it will take you to get there, plan out what you have to achieve in the year and then break it down to what you have to do each month, and even each week.

Step 4: How to stay on track with your plan
Most people know from experience that it is one thing to have a great plan but another thing entirely to stick to the plan and make it work.

Here are some tips to keep you focused on your plan and ultimately achieve your objectives:
• Make it fun – Albert Einstein once said “If you love your job, then you never have to work another day in your life”. Use this way of thinking when setting goals, find fun ways to achieve the things you want.
• Get a coach –If you can’t afford to hire a professional coach right now then get a friend to help, someone who is creative and motivating, and someone who will keep you on track and help you to enjoy the process.
• Set achievable goals – Don’t set yourself up for failure by setting goals that are too high. Start by setting small goals and reward yourself each time that you achieve one of the goals.
• Remember it takes 21 days to form a new habit. If you remember this then it will help you to get through those tough days I sometimes leave notes around my house and work desk to remind me what I’m aiming for and why.
• Visualise success – Imagine yourself having achieved the goals and what your life will be like. Think about how you will feel!

The goals I set for 2010 are
#1. Modelling. Photoshoots with amazing photographers Gary Howard and Daniel Gowans.
#2. Take care of myself. Continue with healthy eating and running. Surround myself with positive, fun and successful people. My body is my temple, treat it well. Learn to relax.
#3. Career. Work hard.
#4. Money. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE and SAVE some more. 2011 Wedding.
#5. Shane. Each year I seem to fall more and more in love with my man. Everything is so perfect in our relationship. Keep doing what I’m doing, it’s working ;)
#6. Friends and Family. Keep going out and meeting new people. I love the beautiful social life I have at the moment! Continue to be a great friend to the people you love. Keep in touch facebook/email/phone. Go out for dinners and hang out at the beach. SHOPPING!
#7. Get my first tattoos. Exciting! I have 4 planned in my head.
#8. Join a sports team.
#9. Stop and savour all the sweet moments in my life. So many amazing things are going on at the moment and I feel like I need to “live in the moment” a little more. It’s always about what is coming next.
#10. Push the boundaries. If I want something I go and get it. I am responsible for everything in my life. I make it happen for myself.

So far I have achieved all of them except get my tattoos and join a sports team, but hey, its only the start of February ;)

My friend Aaron (Fashion TV Australia CEO) had his birthday pool party on Saturday afternoon, was so fun! I went with Danny, Britney and a few others. Got to catch up with the crew from Playboy Golf and watch the first cut of the Girls of Playboy Golf Australia show!

The weather is so amazing at the moment, its so hot and sunny all the time, I LOVE IT! After I got back from Aaron’s party I hung out by our pool with Shane.

Saturday night, Shane and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary! Its crazy to think that we have been together for 7 years! Its so amazing! He is my best friend and I love him more than ever xxx
We went out for a YUMMY romantic dinner to a top seafood restaurant, Omero’s Brothers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We sat by the water with a view of the sunset and luxury boats. So beautiful.

Then we had drinks back at our place with a handful of friends.

Sunday I was asked last minute to model some swimwear for a fashion parade YAY! The designer is Mojoz Swimwear, based on the Gold Coast. The event was at Lauxes in Broadbeach, a gorgeous fine dining restaurant and bar. Hehe I love that “Lauxes” is “sexual” spelt backwards! What an awesome name for a bar haha. The owners were so lovely (even bought me lunch and a cocktail after the parade) Also several media photographers were there, I am on page 3 of today’s Gold Coast Bulletin, I haven’t seen the photo yet but the designer messaged me on Facebook and said it takes up most of the page! I cant wait to see it! I will scan a copy and post up here :) There are 6 other publications that are posting articles so I will be sure to put up links and photos.

The other models were really lovely and beautiful. They have regular fashion shows there so I look forward to the next one.
After that was all finished I wanted to go to the big Tattoo Expo that was on but it was almost over – Next Time!
It was still super hot so Shane and I went down to the beach. Ended up getting burgers (I can’t remember that last time I ate a burger haha – it was s grilled chicken and salad burger so I didn’t eat McDonalds or Hungry Jacks EEEWWW!) and we watched “Funny People” on DVD which I thought was great.
Its back to Brisbane for another week. Fun weekend ahead already planned, I have party modelling job Saturday night and a big group of us are going to Sunset Pool Party and Jupiters Casino! I cant wait! Here is a flyer about it.

Find that once you pop you just can’t stop? It’s nothing to do with wobbly willpower, according to a new book storming the US.

You know you don’t need another Pringle. You’ve just inhaled five and you’re not even hungry. So why is one (handful) never enough? Blame the food manufacturers! David Kessler, who in the 90s worked with then-President Bill Clinton to take on the tobacco manufacturers, has now turned his attentions to the food industry. In his best-selling new book, The End Of Overeating, Kessler argues that manufacturers are making stuff which is simply impossible to stop eating. Good for their profits? Yes. Good for the global waistline? No.
Kessler says food-makers pump products full of an unholy trinity of sugar, fat and salt, and it’s this combination that creates constant craving. Salty biscuits and chips are perfect examples of “hyperpalatable” food. Not only do they contain the perfect mix of fat, salt and sugar, they are designed to never fill you up, and their flavour, texture and aroma (all man-made) leave you wanting more.
Sydney-based dietician Susie Burrell (www.susieburrell.com.au) agrees: “Those types of foods target the reward centres – the parts of the brain that are triggered and create opiate-like substances that make us feel good, so we want more because we link that food to that good feeling,” she explains. “It’s a hormonal response.”
Kessler adds: “The food industry says it’s just giving us what we want, but it’s actually hijacking the brains of millions of people and making them overweight.” His studies of “eat-me” foods show that reward centres in the brain are activated in anticipation of eating, and remain stimulated until every last crumb is gone. Interestingly, this is also our brain’s response to tobacco and cocaine. Burrell cites evidence that different centres of the brain respond in a drug-like way to certain foods: “Particularly sugar and fat when mixed together. A good example would be meal deals like popcorn and ice cream at the movies, or a hamburger and soft drink.”
The good news is a change in attitude could be all it takes to overcome conditioned overeating. A very structured eating plan that cuts out chaotic snacking is essential. Kessler also advises identifying danger foods and eliminating them. “Look at that plate of fries and know that you won’t be able to stop after just one. If you do, they’ll increase your appetite all day long and one will never, ever be enough…”

HOW TO CURB YOUR CRAVINGS
Susie suggests:
• Be mindful of what causes the cravings to occur. Common triggers include not having eaten in the past three-to-four hours, and being on a low-carb diet.
• “The best thing you can do is change the scenery when experiencing cravings,” she says. “A study found that when subjects craved chocolate and were told to take a walk outside, the cravings diminished.”
• Try neutralising your palate. “Sugar feeds sugar and fat feeds fat. If you’re craving sugar, eat something savoury. Or have a small portion of something and then have a green tea afterwards to neutralise the palate.”
• Avoid complex foods with too many ingredients, like processed and fast foods.
• Don’t stock your house with uncontrolled portions.

I went to SummerfieldDayze on Saturday here at the Gold Coast. It was the most amazing and best music festival I have ever been to! I HAD THE BEST TIME EVER!!! :)
I went with a fun group of friends and met up with several others there, such a fun day! It was so hot and there were so many people. All of the sets and stages were amazing! I danced my arse off for hours and hours! Here are some photos and video links...

After that we went to see NAPT play at The Ruby Tramp - AMAZING!!! I had an amazing night there too!
We walked out of the club at about 5am and went down to the beach then went to see some friends for a BBQ breakfast and spent the day relaxing.
So lucky I have today off work as I am still recovering :P

V magazine's plus-size issue with Terry Richardson's photo-shoot. Here are some images from the mag, which aims to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes. Some of the world's most stunningly curveous models, such as Candice Huffine and Tara Lynn, don everything from Agent Provocateur and Dolce & Gabbana to... well, not very much at all.

2010 is meant to be there year of the plus size moddel. I'm not sure how I feel about plus side model's everywhere. Dont get my wrong, they look amazing and I'm happy they feel good about themselves - everybody should feel sexy!
I have no problem with "feeling comfortable in your skin" but I kind of think high fashion looks the best on the "typical model". I'm not trying to be rude but just because more and more women are obese does not mean that fashion needs to redefine itself to accommodate insecurities of the modern woman, or should it?

It's no surprise that the man who made Titanic — aka the highest-grossing film of all time — would be able to pull off another mega-blockbuster. James Cameron's new film Avatar has raked in more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office since its release in December.

I went to see Avatar in 3D on Monday night. One word: WOW! It was so so soo amazing! One of the best movies I have seen in my life. I dont usually like Sci-Fi kind of movies, but Avatar was incredible! The imagination of James Cameron is so awesome. I wont spoil the storey for anyone who hasnt seen it yet, so I wont go into detail.

I highly recommend it :)
