Mayhem and miniskirts — I paid to be kidnapped by an all-girl gang.
Once upon a time, if you wanted to pay to be kidnapped, you just joined a cult. Now if you have an urge to experience the thrill of voluntary abduction, you can consult the French adventure firm Ultime Réalité (Ultimate Reality).
Open to any kidnapping kink, Ultimate Reality offers to stage "new adventures out of your dreams, your nightmares, or simply a movie or a book". Aside from being kidnapped, you can play the leading part in a manhunt, fake drug smuggling mission, or "go-fast adventure". Plus, the company is "open to special requests" — a stream of snide remarks from a rude French waiter, perhaps? Nah, you can get that for free anywhere in Paris.
Maximise the surprise
The adventures that Ultimate Reality concoct make other extreme sports look tame. Yes, you can skydive, jump off cliffs or bungee-jump from the Macau Tower. But those feats have a "controlled edge" vibe. You know roughly how the falls will unfold.
The difference with a simulated abduction is that it happens without warning. Once the scenario has been established, you sign a contract and liability waiver, but — to fuel surprise — are not told when the kidnappers will strike.
Thrills supplied by ambush do not come cheap. A basic package which will see you bundled off, bound, gagged and confined for four hours is €900: a fair whack for an experience that others would pay to avoid. The cost ratchets up if you opt for a more elaborate, tailor-made psychodrama involving an escape or helicopter chase, for example.
Ultimate high
Picture the scene: you're ambling toward a corner shop to buy the milk or sprawled in a park in lazy afternoon, composing an SMS. Breaking into your bubble, a group of ski mask-clad strangers grabs and drags you to a waiting black chopper.
Whup, whup, whup! Whisked over the rooftops, you say goodbye to the zero-risk nanny state. Imagine the delicious shivers of fear and the exhilaration inspired by the views. That is assuming your captors play nice and let you peek over the blindfold.
An airlift abduction could be an unbeatable bucks' party stunt — much more of a buzz than a strippergram. No wonder, just after its January launch, Ultimate Reality was already attracting up to two requests per day, Reuters reported. Their main client? Top-level execs seeking an extreme sports alternative (yes, your boss is just as off-the-wall as they are well off).
Define real
The daredevil craze with a corporate slant can be traced back to 2002 when Ultimate Reality rival, US-based Extreme Kidnapping debuted. Now Extreme Kidnapping claims to provide "the most realistic, hardcore, movie-style kidnapping adventures allowable by law".
EK paints some adventures it offers as real-time, real-life threat assessments educational to at-risk clients. That is, people with "sizable assets", who have received threats and need bodyguards.
The firm promises to show where potential victims are exposed. "Better to find out now than when your family or business associates get a ransom call."
Better indeed. Still, Extreme Kidnapping can be kinky.
Rent-a-minx
One package on the market is the chance to be grabbed by an all-girl team. In one shot on the not-suitable-for-work Extreme Kidnapping webpage for the female capture option, tartan skirt-clad vixens lean over a car, exposing their knickers.
In another shot, an Extreme Kidnapping vamp holds a bewigged man in a headlock — he doesn't appear to be struggling much. Men who take the all-girl option may run the risk of Stockholm syndrome, where you fall in love with your captor.
The all-girl captivity angle is so hot that, according to the company website which showcases reports, it has caught the eye of shock jock Howard Stern and Germany's Max magazine. The Max story features a glaring uber-minx saying in German: "I love the feeling of control over men during a kidnapping."
The Deutsche dominatrix might fit into the Sydney fetish club Hellfire or any S&M dungeon. "With the female team you may get a little spanking — it's basically a bondage and domination fantasy," the director of Extreme Kidnapping, Adam Thick, told UK tabloid News of the World.
A popular form of domination inflicted by the killer heels team is called "tickle torture". It entails exactly what the term suggests. Presumably, if you ask nicely, you can get the silent treatment, too.
White-knuckle black ops
Just don't call the cops. One staged Extreme Kidnapping incident was interrupted by the arrival of seven police cars that surrounded the performers.
According to Thick, the cops got out with their guns cocked. The situation was defused, but the run-in must have raised adrenaline levels even higher.
If you want to push your limits, Ultimate Reality offers an "extreme add-on package" with "black ops" overtones. The deal is simple but unsettling. You get to die and wake up in the morgue.

Shock photo: 50 Cent reveals weight loss for movie role
A shocking photo of rapper 50 Cent have surfaced on the internet, showing his extreme weight loss for a movie role.
50 Cent shed more than 22 kilograms to star in Things Fall Apart, a drama about a football player stricken with cancer.Fiddy told Us Weekly he "was starving" as he went on an all-liquid diet and walked on a treadmill for three hours a day, for nine weeks.
But he's already started getting back to his old, buff self.
"I've been eating. I'll be back in shape in no time!"

My Cousins Wedding - WTF am I going to wear?
OK so, in two weeks my cousin Adam and his gorgeous fiance are getting married here on the Gold Coast! I'm so happy for them - they are great people!
My parents (who I haven't seen for a year) are coming over and two of my step sisters are as well. I CANNOT wait to see them all. I really miss my parents.Being a model and fashion obsessed, I want to look f*cken awesome at the wedding. I've recently changed my hair from dark brown to light brown with blonde highlights.
(I think I will put some more blonde through it before the wedding)
I don't know what to wear! haha ;) I usually wear sexy dresses with high heals, bright colours and funky accessories. Probably because most of the social events I go to are at night in clubs/bars/parties. But for a wedding I want to tone it down a go for something really girlie and in a pastel/creamy/nude colour. I'm thinking florals, grecian, ruffles etc.
So I posted a question on www.polyvore.com and I'm pleasantly surprised to find several girls have gone to the effort to put outfits together to help me out - and some of them are beautiful!
Here is the link... http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/advice.show?id=131405
I also LOVE this shop www.forevernew.com.au
Any suggestions??? Any advice??? I know there are some fashionably intelligent ladies who read this so please let me know what y'all think ;)
Much Love

HUGE life update
Apologies for the lack of blogging – my life has been a little crazy lately. I’ve made some big changes – yay!
First up, I resigned from my Brisbane job about 4 weeks ago and this is my last week here. It’s sad to leave as I love my work mates and the company. In January 2010, Queensland Transport and Translink increased my bus/train fares by 21% which leaves me paying over $100 a week in travel OUCH! Also the time spent travelling each day (5 hours) has been taking a toll on my personal life for about 6 months. My wedding is just over a year away so feel I need to be much closer to home (and Shane) to save and plan for one of the most important events of my entire life. The spare time I have each day (about an hour) just isn’t enough – especially considering I want to start studying. Social life is ZERO through the week making my weekends jammed with trying to do everything.
I'm really looking forward to having time back on my side.
So what have I been doing on these weekends? Going back to April 23rd, Friday night I had dinner with some of my best girlfriends (Bridget, Tracey and Katie) went to a couple bars – such a fun night out!
Photos…
Got home 2am and got up Saturday morning 6am and went on an amazing kayaking and snorkelling tour with Shane. Beautiful!!!
Then we spent Sunday on a bush hike through Mount Springbrook. We saw a snake in the wild which was exciting hehe. Walked down past a huge waterfall and walked underneath it. There was a pool at the bottom to go swimming in. Paradise in the rainforest!
Then Monday it was Anzac day and we watched a doco on TV and paid our respect to those amazing people and what they did for us.
The following weekend was my friend Shayla’s bday! I love birthday parties! I made her a cute photo frame and also got her a cocktail recipe book. We had a party at her parent’s beautiful mansion and then 2 maxi taxis full of people went into town. Had a fun night at a club drinking and dancing.
Sunday was HUNGOVER! RANDOM BIKINI PHOTOS
Then Monday was CREAMFIELDS MUSIC FESTIVAL!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! What a day! It was so incredible! The music, the people, the location – AMAZING! HUGE! I had the best time! My fav acts were LMFAO, Green Velvet, MstrKrft and The Bloody Beetroots.
Photos…
The group of us had to wait in the rain for like 1.5 hours for a ride home – f*cken public transport. Ugh! We got back to our hotel and had a hot shower – so good! Then went to bed around midnight. Woke up Tuesday feeling like I had been hit by a train, dragged along for a few hours then stood up and hit again. Death walking. Didn’t make it to work as I felt so bad. Wednesday I went to work but felt so terrible. I got home and had fevers and chills and my glands and tonsils were swollen, headache and blocked nose. Went to the Doc Thursday and also had Friday off. Friday I felt the worst – I got out of bed once! I slept for like 14 hours each night. I’ve never been that sick. I never want to feel like that again.
Last weekend I came to the conclusion that my new apartment wasn’t feeling like “home” so Shane and I got some cute goldfish and I bought some cactus plants. Our kitchen is like a mediterranean theme as we love that kind of food. The lounge is Africa and the bedroom is white with dark purple and chocolate. I printed a bunch of new photos and put them in frames around the apartment.
Which brings me to the weekend just been! Friday night I hit the gym with Shane. Then we watched “Friday” and “Next Friday” haha funny movies!
Being the amazing fiancé that I am, I got up early Saturday morning and baked Shane some bacon and cheese muffins for breakfast in bed YUMMY!
Then later that morning I took the big step I’ve been thinking about for so long. I changed my hair from brunette to blonde! Ok so it’s not “blonde” it’s more like light brown with blonde highlights. It’s a gradual process. I’m not trying to be platinum blonde (like Paris Hilton) more like a natural dirty blonde (like Lauren Conrad or Elle Liberachi). E.G.
It took 4 hours. I left the salon feeling upset and HATING the new colour. Thinking “why did I change it?! I should have just stayed brunette!” I was in a weird mood all day about it. I don’t think I prepared myself for such a big change. It really affected me. But I LOVE it now!
Shane and I spent the afternoon at my brother’s new house – SO BEAUTIFUL! He lives right by the water and his flat mate has a jet ski FUN!
Shane cooked us dinner Saturday night - so yummy. He is such a great cook. Love hot meals on a winter night. We hung out and watched Season 8 of The Family Guy – HILLARIOUS!!! That shit is GOLD!
We spent Sunday morning shopping at the mall and I got some new lingerie yay! Then I got pretty for my shoot and met up with my new friend Sally who is a fashion stylist. She came to my shoot with Nathan from Mojo Photography. We had a great shoot – we are a great team! Lots more photos to come…
Then I picked up Bridget and we had a sushi date. I tried deep-fried ice-cream OMFG. Love hanging out with my girl Bridget, she is awesome!!! HUGE gossip catch up session.
Guess what! I’ve paid off my credit card IN FULL and now all my spare money can go towards saving for my wedding YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!
This weekend I have a meeting with a new agent to see if I can model in the Gold Coast Fashion Week! I did it last year for my friend Sonja who is a designer. I also did a shoot for one of her ranges.
I’ve got so much coming up over the next couple months! Life is going so well and I really feel that I’m making good decisions and doing what makes ME happy.
Much love,
